Come join Courtney for a trip back in time to more than 150 years ago and participate in a United States Sanitary Commission Fair. We will sew a Civil War housewife (sewing kit) for the soldiers using Willcox and Gibbs sewing machines from that time. The Willcox and Gibbs Company were strong supporters of the Sanitary Commission (later the Red Cross) and participated in the fairs that supported the soldiers during the Civil War.
